This Friday, August 13th, Tweens are invited to beat the heat by joining us for an afternoon showing of the '80s classic movie, The Goonies, rated PG. The Goonies is absolutely one of my favorite movies from the '80s and I'm looking forward to revisiting it this Friday! In The Goonies, a band of kids from the "Goon Docks" neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon - hoping to save their homes from demolition - go on an adventure to find the buried treasure of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate.Popcorn and drinks will be provided! Located in the lower level program room. Please note this week's Tween activity will begin at 2:30pm (not 3pm as in previous weeks) and will go until 4:30pm.

I love The Goonies too. Always a great fall back for entertainment :-)
