Tuesday, February 17th @ 10:30am - Animal World Experience "Winter Wonders"
Ever wonder what animals do in the winter? Join Animal World
Experience and explore the many ways that animals survive in, and thrive
in the winter. What you find out will shock and amaze you! Following
the presentation, children will have the opportunity to interact with a
variety of different animals.
No registration is required for this free program - just drop in!
For children ages 4 - 12. Held in the lower level program room.
Wednesday, February 18th @ 10:30am - Sarah Gardner Music - "Warm Winter Sing-A-Long"
Join musician Sarah Gardner for a Warm Winter Sing-A-Long in the lower
level program room. Hear winter songs, dreidel rhymes and the Snowman
Pokey! Flap your flippers during the Penguin Dance and join in with the
jingling and jumping. No registration is required for this free event,
just drop in! All are welcome, however this program is best suited for
younger children, ages 0 - 5.
Thursday, February 19th at 2:30pm - Chinese New Year Crafts
Celebrate the Chinese New Year by creating a variety of crafts at the library! Ages 5 - 10.
Registration required. Held in the John Clarke Children's Program Room.
Friday, February 20th at 2:30pm - Kids Movie Matinee: The Boxtrolls
Children ages 6 - 12 are invited to view the The Boxtrolls,
rated PG. Subterranean trolls raise an orphaned boy, who helps them
fight back against an evil exterminator and make peace with the fearful
residents of an upper-crust Victorian-era town known for its world-class
cheeses. No registration is required. Held in the lower level program
room.
